Slide Right can install a door self closer with a safety latch above 54" to bring your sliding patio doors up to pool code. We can install on new and old doors alike. The system can be retrofitted to almost any door, including multi-panel doors with a few exceptions. Once installed, you will use the above safety latch, in conjunction with factory door handle, to open and exit. Once you let go of the door the closer will slowly close the door and reengage the safety latch. Our locks are very simple and easy to use.
If your home has a set of Bi-Parting doors, or multi-panel doors we can install on this style as well. One option you have is to put one door closer on each sliding panel. The other option is to pin one panel shut and to install only one door closer on the opposite panel. Once the closers are installed, our service technician can install the safety latch above 54".
Many new homes come with multiple sliding doors. A very popular door is a stacking or pocketing door. To bring a multi-panel door up to pool code we would need to install a door closer and safety latch. In conjunction with the self closer and door latch, we would also need to pin the 2nd sliding door panel to ensure that only the first panel opens.
